FCC Environmental offers disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous aerosol wastes through its sister company, GRR Aerosols. Its patented, closed-loop system provides more aerosols recycling/destruction capabilities than any company in North America. The system uses explosion-proof technology to crush the containers, separate the gases from the liquids, and compact the cans into metal bricks. Captured propellants are primarily used for energy recovery while the liquids are burned as fuel in the production of cement. Completing the process, the bricks are sent to a metals recycler.
