As part of its comprehensive range of leading-edge recycling initiatives, FCC Environmental collects used automotive antifreeze, used heat tranfer fluids and select industrial by-product streams. These waste streams are vacuum distilled into virgin grade, ethylene glycol for heat-transfer fluids, freeze-protection ingredients and a number of commercial antifreeze products marketed under the SureTemp® brand.
FCC Environmental manufactures its full line of SureTemp antifreeze products at its Rockville, VA facility using a vacuum distillation technology. Meeting all of the specifications of new antifreeze, our SureTemp antifreeze line is formulated with additives supplied by the Penray Company, the leading supplier of antifreeze inhibitors and supplemental coolant additives (SCAs) for both the automotive and truck markets in the United States.
