Waste Oil Collection and Recycling
FCC Environmental recycles over 90 million gallons of spent lubricants each year. Our fully permitted and insured transportation fleet collects and transports the spent lubricants to our facility for testing and processing. The net result is a high-quality, energy-efficient, on-specification recycled fuel oil sold to the asphalt, pulp and paper, electric utility and other industries.

When waste generation cannot be prevented, reuse and recycle are at the top of the EPA's waste management practices. The Hydrocarbon Services business of FCC Environmental is dedicated to the proper collection, management and recycling of used oil. We stringently test and "fingerprint" all incoming materials in the field and at our company-owned laboratories. When the sample composition is identified, our team of experts determines the best treatment approach for the given sample. After acceptance into our recycling facility, the waste is processed using the latest in thermal, mechanical and chemical technologies. Recovered fuel oil is marketed through our relationships in industry, including the asphalt, pulp and paper, electric utility and other industries. Extracted water is treated and discharged in compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulations.
